A few weeks before my 10-year anniversary, my engagement ring accidentally ended up in the garbage disposal. Based on a friend’s referral, I went to see Shimon at Finer Custom Engagement Rings and Diamonds — and I’m so glad I did.

Shimon was incredibly accommodating, even opening the store at a time that worked best for me. He was warm, friendly, and truly cared about restoring my ring. I showed him a photo of what it looked like before, and I wanted it to be exactly the same since I’ve always loved my original design.

He did an outstanding job recreating my ring — it looks absolutely beautiful, just like the original. He also took care of all the communication with my insurance company, making the entire process smooth and stress-free.

Shimon is the best. He’s so so kind and incredibly supportive of any project. What I loved most is how honest he was with me about my jewelry and helped me make the best decisions to keep the integrity of antique jewelry.

I found an antique set of pearls (cera ~1942) in basically mint condition but the sting was a bit off and fragile. I had a set of screw back pearls too - after careful conversion and consultation with Shimon we determined to leave the earrings in the current stage. His team was able to restring the necklace within 2 weeks. Not only are they absolutely beautiful but they wear more comfortably and heavier. The heaviness makes me feel more confident wearing them.

I can’t thank him enough - not only were they able to keep the antique clasp but also keep the integrity of the pears. I’m so thankful!!!

I highly recommend this jeweler! I had the pleasure of working with Jamie on a custom engagement ring. She was very easy to work with, flexible to my schedule, honest and very knowledgeable. The pricing was also very fair, especially for the attention to detail and quality of the diamond and ring you get. The level of intimacy and transparency you receive is not typically found at large name brand places. For me, Finer was a perfect fit.

In addition, I had a different approach than others, coming in with a specific CAD design of my own creation, seeking their expertise. I could not be any happier with the finished product.

I can’t say enough amazing things about working with Jamie!!!! But here’s a list of my favorite parts of the experience:
1. They SHIPPED IN various different stone shapes for me to look at during our first meeting (so cool) and they found an elongated hexagon which is so rare - I was blown away!
2. I thought the prices would be astronomical for a custom experience - it was not! They’re extremely reasonable
3. Jamie and Shimone were always so quick to respond to my texts and questions every step of the way
4. Jamie helped me custom design my rings to absolute perfection and was very patient with me and my OCD
5. Jamie and Shimone are just the sweetest people ever and take their time to just hang out and talk - I never felt rushed or pressured. I always look forward to seeing them, like old friends

I was gifted diamonds from my mother and both grandmother’s wedding rings and I wanted to make my own wedding ring with them. I was able to schedule an appointment the following day and began working on the ring design. They were so thorough in making sure the fit and design was just right by making 3D imaging and wax molds for you to see before the ring is actually made. The whole process took about a month from start to finish and you can’t beat the price! I’m beyond happy with what they made for me. It’s truly something special.

After sharing our diamond CCC wish list with Shimon we sat back and waited. Shimon took us seriously and carefully watched the exchanges for "our stone". He found us a nearly flawless diamond that presented 30% larger than its weight! We then asked Shimon to craft a setting that required specially cut supplemental diamonds.
